November marked an important opportunity for Studio Tributario Deiure to strengthen its international relations in the United Arab Emirates through a series of institutional meetings, including visits to Dubai’s major Free Zones.
The mission opened with a meeting at the DMCC (Dubai Multi Commodities Centre) in Dubai, where we had the privilege of speaking with Senior Director Dr. Khalid M. Sharaf and Senior Manager Corporate Sales Dr. Khozama Al Saadi. The meeting concluded with a direct discussion with the CEO, His Excellency Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem, who emphasized the development and collaboration opportunities offered by the organization.
We then visited the Free Zone of the Dubai World Trade Centre, and we spoke with Dr. Leo Cisotta, General Manager of Italiacamp Dubai, an organization dedicated to fostering connections between Italian excellence and the emerging markets of the Middle East, North Africa and Southeast Asia.
The mission continued with a further meeting at the Jafza Building with Dr. Thierry Vantomme, Senior Manager of Business Development Parks & Zones at DP World. The discussion focused on investment dynamics and growth opportunities for Italian companies in the UAE, as well as the potential of the Emirati market as a gateway to Indian and African markets.
Another key moment was also the meeting with Dr. Salem Al Shamsi, Executive Vice President – International Relations of Dubai Chambers, which further strengthened our strategic partnership.
We also spoke with Dr. Fatmah Alsamahi, Strategy & Future Department, and Dr. Shaikha Almazrouei, Director of Reference National Laboratory Drug Department of the EDE (Emirates Drug Establishment), Government Healthcare Agency of the Emirates.
We would like to thank Dr. Stefano Antonelli, Chief Representative of the Southern European Region, Dubai Chambers, for his introduction to the various institutional entities that allowed us to come into contact with highly valuable contacts, providing a significant contribution to the work of Studio Tributario Deiure in the region.
The Deiure Tax Firm also expresses its heartfelt appreciation to the Consulate General of Italy in Dubai for the warm welcome extended by Consul Edoardo Napoli and Vice Consul Francesca Dell’Apa. The meeting fostered a cordial and productive dialogue on topics of mutual interest, such as international taxation and the expansion strategies of Italian companies in the United Arab Emirates.
Finally, thanks to Prof. Massimo Khairallah, Director of International Relations, we had the honor of attending the 12th Abu Dhabi Strategic Debate held at the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi. This high-level event offered valuable insight into geopolitical dynamics and prospects for international cooperation.
It was an intense and inspiring experience, reaffirming that international dialogue and institutional collaboration are essential to opening new pathways for Italian businesses.
